#1 is a 'meet the family' again kind of baby shower, it is for Nick's Cousin. Yes I have literally "met" a lot of his family on Christmas eve, but that was more like introductions didn't really get a chance to talk and such, their were LOTS of people and it was a bit over whelming but not in a bad way, I think the holiday as a whole was just a lot to handle. After being nervous last week, and am kind of glad now to be getting the chance to meet and actually talk to more of Nick's relatives. Just makes everything more real and permanent, when you get familiar with your Boyfriend's family. :) So I guess I am excited, with a little nerves on the side.
#2 will be super fun, and i am definitely excited to be with all my Pearl Salon Ladies Celebrating Landon's Arrival to MN :) this is a shower for a great friend of mine, Kenzie, she was actually featured on the news last week with her story of having Landon 11 weeks early, while on vacation in Mexico. It is so great that they are home after spending over 2 months in TX, as that was the closest State Side Hospital for them to get transferred too. He is a perfect little baby boy, precious in every way, and I'm sure everyone will be fussing over him, but here's hoping I get a turn in the rotation of holding the little cutie pants.
All in all, it will be a long day, in the car that is! But well worth all the ladies I will get to see and meet, and enjoy all the time spent.
