We have had a good month. It has been 3 weeks since the last time Mom had to have her Lungs Drained of the fluid. which is AWESOME. and it was a whole 2 weeks between drains before that which was also an amazing length compared to the 5 to 7 days of the previous weeks.
According to us, this last round of Chemo seemed to do some good, Mom has more energy and we have been able to get out of the house more. Which it feels so good to be able to do some regular things together. Especially for her to be able to go to Church and Valley Natural, then life seems almost normal :)
We meet with the Doctor tomorrow for blood work and to re-asses and see what the next plan of attack is.
I want to say thank you to all of the friends and family that have been able to help us! it has ment so very much! Since Mom hasn't been able to be alone, having a list of people to call to put on the schedule has been great. Thank you everyone for your prayers and everything and anything you have done for us! you are ever so much a HUGE blessing!
As for me, the salon could be busier.. but than again I am only able to work there on Thursday and Friday evenings and I know those aren't good nights for everyone. Please feel free to call me if you want to work something out "nail wise" :) or if you would like to stop by and visit my mom, or even myself, since it is easier to just be home.
To all my friends: I am still alive and well, it is hard to get out, but getting something on the calendar is "key"
