27 years

This picture was taken when Ben and I had been dating one year. As on Monday (My Birthday) July 21st, 2008 We will have been together for 6 years. I know people now who have dated that long before getting married. Getting married young has been a learning experience. Filled with every emotion you can think of. I can't even fathom getting married any younger then 22 years old. Cause being parents at 23, was a life changer. Looking at these pictures I am realizing our engagement pictures were only taken 3 months after these. We were also married within 7 months of these pictures. Crazy how slow time seems to go when you are in the moment but looking back it all went so FAST!
I baked 2 Birthday cakes for myself today, one for tomorrow when I am getting together with my cake ladies to talk about the wedding cake we are making for August 9th. And the other is for the camping trip coming up Sunday thru Tuesday, which will be over my Birthday. Thought about having another get together But not sure if I want to put forth all the planning effort. I think I finally have my chocolate cake recipe down pat. Which is Awesome! awesome that i got it figured out finally and awesome that it just tastes so amazing! No one would ever know it was missing the wheat or dairy. Next to conquoer the white cake.. tried a new variation yesterday but it was more like a sponge cake. Tasted good though. Made a chai frosting that was to die for!
Get to go to work tomorrow, hang out with Cake ladies, Thursday night Ben and I are going to Valley Fair together for the first time without Hayden man. Friday I'm not doing much besides work sadly even though I would LOVE to make it to the Joe Firstman concert at the Fineline in Mpls. Saturday I am working and going to ValleyFair with Stacie, the first time the two of us get to go together. Even though we have both had season passes for forever! Sunday morning finish packing and head out for Camping... So with that busy week I don't really see myself getting back on here any day soon :) Hope every one has a great week and I will be 27 when I'm back.... AH!
